Role Overview

Become an elite Quality Assurance engineer. In this internship program, you will design comprehensive manual test strategies, build robust automated testing frameworks with Selenium and Postman, and run high-volume load tests with JMeter.

2 Automated REST API Testing with Postman & RestAssured

  • REST API testing fundamentals: HTTP methods, status codes, headers & payload validation
  • Writing automated assertion scripts in Postman (JavaScript)
  • Automated regression testing using Postman Newman CLI in CI/CD
  • API test automation frameworks with Java RestAssured / Python Requests

3 Web UI Automation with Selenium WebDriver

  • Selenium WebDriver architecture & browser driver setup
  • Locating strategies: Advanced XPath (axes, contains, text) & CSS Selectors
  • Handling dynamic web elements, synchronization (Implicit vs. Explicit waits), dropdowns & alerts
  • Actions class for mouse hover, drag-and-drop, and keyboard events

4 Test Automation Framework Design (POM & BDD)

  • Building modular Page Object Model (POM) frameworks from scratch
  • Test execution, assertions, parallel testing & data-driven testing with TestNG / PyTest
  • Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber (Gherkin syntax: Feature, Scenario, Given-When-Then)
  • Generating rich interactive HTML test reports with ExtentReports / Allure

5 Performance & Load Testing with Apache JMeter

Live Milestone
  • Performance testing concepts: Throughput, Response Time, Concurrency & Latency
  • Creating test plans in JMeter: Thread Groups, HTTP Samplers & Timers
  • Parameterization, correlation of dynamic session tokens & assertions
  • Running distributed headless load tests and analyzing aggregate graphs

6 CI/CD Integration, QA Sign-off & Portfolio Review

  • Integrating automated test execution into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
  • Executing headless browser runs in Docker containers
  • Conducting release readiness reviews & drafting Test Summary Reports
